MPs across the House of Commons railed against Boris Johnson after he apologised for attending a party in the No10 Downing Street garden in 2020.
In a statement, Mr Johnson told MPs: “Mr. Speaker, I want to apologise. I know that millions of people across this country have made extraordinary sacrifices over the last 18 months.”
The Prime Minister maintains that he was not aware he was attending a party and that he believed it was a “work event”.
