The great state of New Jersey is one step closer to adding more support for unemployment claimants, with a new proposal that aims to provide employment situations for citizens, and assistance for benefits to eligible residents across the Garden State.

The new proposal passed in the Senate, and: “requires at least one unemployment claims handler to be assigned to each legislative district and partisan office to help with the onslaught of unresolved unemployment claims.”

Senator Nicolas Scutari explained: “The legislation will be key in alleviating the stress filing these claims have put on our government offices and will allow them to be filed at an increased rate.”

Senator Loretta Weinberg also stated: “In these still hectic times with record numbers of unemployed in our state, we need to be able to adjust to meet the demand.”

This is great news for unemployment claimants in New Jersey, and I hope that similar legislation can be enacted in your neck of the woods.

Meanwhile, a recent survey from GigSmart, a staffing company that connects businesses looking for talent with individuals looking for work, shows that more Americans are seeking gig work opportunities than ever before.

They found that on their platforms, there was a 460% growth in demand for hourly gig workers since March 2020, and a 39% jump in the number of hourly Gigs completed on their platform in Q4 2020.

Rich Oakes, President of GigSmart, explained: “users can easily find and apply to temporary, part-time, and full-time job opportunities.”

We talk about the gig-working rebels all the time on this channel, so if you are currently in need of employment and want to try a new career, gig work could be the answer you’ve been looking for.

Finally, with the prospects rising of both a fourth stimulus check and extended enhanced unemployment benefits, it looks like America is getting back to normal and could see full employment sooner rather than later.

The Federal Reserve announced that they predict the jobless rate will fall below 4% in 2022, putting America back on track with employment levels before that thing out there put a hold on everything last year.

They also stated that the unemployment rate is currently at 6.2%, after hitting a record high when it ballooned to 14.7% in April of 2020.

I can’t wait until America is back at full strength, and hopefully these positive predictions can bring you more employment opportunities for the rest of 2021.

If you still haven’t applied for unemployment assistance, start the week off right and apply today.

Visit your state’s PUA or UI website, upload your employment history and ID, and let them know that you’ve been out of work due to that thing out there, if that’s the case.

For honestly and truthfully filling out the application, you could receive a backdated unemployment check for over $20,000.

To all of the gig-workers, self employed, independent contractors, 1099 workers, even side hustlers, volunteers and freelancers, the PUA will allow you to collect these amazing government extended enhanced unemployment funds.
