  10. Might be a little bit late to be asking… but after you say β€œthis is only going to be a second, I have a few questions” would you then move into telling what it is you do or trying to schedule the next meeting?

    Respectfully disagree with the "have you got a minute?". The prospect at this stage will more often than not ask you why you are calling….as soon as you reveal or hint then it's a sales related call the client will then not have a minute and use your "have you got a minute" as an excuse to be busy and end the call.
