International Women's Day marked amid pandemic



This year, International Women’s Day is being celebrated and observed at a time when the world is confronting staggering health and economic crises.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a disproportionate effect on women worldwide and the United Nations says its consequence will far outlast the outbreak.
