New Attorney General of Arizona Gives An Update on the Situation at the US Border | EWTN News Nightly

According to US Customs and Border Protection, in an 8 day span, between May 17th and May 24th, border patrol agents apprehended 10 convicted sex offenders in the Del Rio sector of Texas, just after they had crossed into the US illegally. The majority of the criminals were apprehended in some of the most remote areas. Attorney General for the State of Arizona, Mark Brnovich, shares whether this concerns him, considering his state also has remote areas where people can escape detection. Brnovich gives us an update on where things stand now at the border and whether things have gotten better. Although, it’s been 60 days since Vice President Kamala Harris became the Border Czar, Brnovich recently wrote to President Joe Biden asking him to replace her. He explains why he felt someone else needs to step in and whether he heard back from the president. On another note, 20 state attorney generals, including Brnovich recently wrote to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, telling him that they oppose teaching critical race theory in their schools. Brnovich tells us more about that and why he feels CRT is harmful to children.
