I’m surprised they haven’t paid off their own mortgage if they felt they could afford that huge house!

  34. I still remember the day after my final redundancy check, first thing I did was go into the bank and pay off my house. After 30+ years of payments. I had tears streaming down my face.

The only problem with doing something like this is the IRS will consider it income for his parents. It would have been better for him to "refi" the loan into his name and just not require them to ever make payments to him.

Amazing but, I hate these news versions of these, they are always so short and lack all of the other parts to something like this. Always talking the way news people do, makes it so much less than it actually is.

  44. come on if he didnt pay off the mortgage and got that 5 million dollars signing bonus. he would have looked like a major d bag lol
