  6. R.B. Roberts

Congratulations for Elaine zooming towards the gold in the 100 meter. But we think you'll agree this is only fastest speed over Florence in the 100m. But do you agree Elaine will have to repeat the record-breaking for the 200m in order to be the only fastest woman on record. Otherwise, do you think she would instead have the fastest record in the 100m only? She would then be "one of the two fastest women in the world." Meantime, to say she "is" the fastest woman in the world is an overstatement since we don't know if Elaine will also break the record in the 200m. Either way, although we're two different countries, globally, we're the same people. So, either way we're very proud of Elaine also. But, yes, as an American, we prefer Florence's record for the 200m to remain.

  7. Gerard Meade

    What about cricket?

  8. Talou ran 10:78 and still could not medal. Jamaica 1-2-3. Magical!

  9. Saphaire Campbell

Jamaica game again 🇯🇲 it feels good to be a Jamaican 😂😂😂😂

  10. Most of those Jamaican women sprinters were a disgrace to their Black Race and their African ancestry! Why all the freaking blond hair on the international stage representing a Black country? Do you see white or Chinese people representing their country wearing Afro weaves? It was disgusting to watch my Black people denigrating themselves in front of the World!! This was a moment to show case African self-love of our god given features! Period!

  11. Jackson Altidor

  12. Became an Elaine Thompson fan she dominated the Women's 100 m and 200 m races in Roo in 2016…
I am reminded of a line from the
    $M600 Man.." ..Bigger, Faster, Stronger"
And now…She may have just put the
Olympic 100 record…out of reach for a while..
Kudos all around to Team Jamaica ..for an exceptional job.👏👏🍸🍸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

  13. Tokyo Olympics have been nice…
However, besides the spectators in the stands, what I really miss is a good Olympics theme(song) for these Games.

  14. Congratulations for Jamaican athletes.

  15. Jamaica, well to the DOPING club you all have been accusing the rest of the world for decades now.

  19. Snap Pictorial

I wonder what the Annalist have to say now? 👀

  20. audley mclean

Ta'lou needs to follow the M.O. of the Jamaicans, you have nothing to prove in the rounds, just to qualify, she expend too much effort both in qualifying and finals, her Coach must teach her how to relax and enjoy herself while competing. when ever she's in any race with any of the Jamaicans she tense-up close her eyes and look real had on herself, in contrast the Jamaican girls look relaxed in their faces no matter how fast they are going, especially Elaine who looks like she is floating, don't know if Coach Francis has anything to do with it for he's a genius.

  21. In response to the question something happened in the camp of the Americans: Fear happened as the globalist stole the elections, coerced, manipulated, and tried their masks, viruses, and their drugs on the Americans.

  22. Priceless 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

  23. jeff burnett

I agree, led by SFP the women of Jamaica are uniquely poised to create herstory; their medal count alone might exceed double digits…first replicate the performance from 2008 in the short sprints +100H,400m,800m,TJ & both relays. Individually ETH might repeat her performance from RIO, Jackson could win 5 medals-the first to do so since 2000…and remarkably SFP could end her Olympic career the way it began…by leading Jamaica to a 100m sweep; medalling at 200m, and taking a shot at both an individual & team WR.

  24. Shelly is fabulous But i know she cannot beat my baby Elaine when she is fit.. love how she silence the critics

  25. Debbie Smith

Congratulations to my Jamaicans team 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

  26. Dennis Dennis

    I told everyone
    Elaine was getting frequent injuries
So I look at he body she was very muscular 2017& 2018
    But in 2016 in Rio
Elaine was more flexible she had less bulky muscle and looked more lean

    But people
Elain had now has posed lots of muscle
More flexible and travel lighter over distance with speed
And most of all led pressure when’s he strikes the ground surface

Hence I knew she was ready
    Trust me.

    I predicted this 1 1/2 months ago

  27. Tricia Maingot

The commenting is once sided there are other Caribbean artletes and the commenters give no balance

  28. 123 Jamaica 🇯🇲 🙏🏿 we need all 3 ladies on that podium

  32. garyjohnson35gj

Congrats to Elaine for winning the 100 final 10.61

  33. I hope that you stop doubting your country MR. LEVY. As an analyst, you should have seen that Sherika was playing posim and is clearly faster than Ta Lou.

  34. Merlene ottey thats how Elaine Thompson run likes

  35. Focking Jamaica ugh

  36. Jackson is not a new comer to the Olympics she was in Rio in the 400 meter races. She is only new to 100 and 200 meters in the Olympics. Jamaica Olympic association did not allow her to run in these events. Know your sport.

  37. Bulawayo Athletics

may you please give us live coverage of the tokyo track and field games if possible please

  38. Wow how did i get lucky to see this in US without NBC blocking it. It's always good to get a different perspective.

  39. One wonders if Fraser could perform much better if she doesn't have the extra weight on her natural hair
